Appreciate your work. Thanks so much for making good programs available to those who have an academic interest in the game.

A group I play with insist that in dealing the dealer shuffles his/her own cards. Do you have a comment.

i am working on a bridge bidding program. If you have some interest in it, you're welcome to contact me. You have a nice site with good tables for bridge odds on it. I just found it today.

This is a fantastic bridge site, and I really like the Deal program which I've only just recently started to use. The impossible book of deals was really interesting to read about too.
I'm also going to convert my system notes to BridgeML.

Just starting, building a Ubuntu P.C. for my mother, cannot deliver it without a proper functioning bridge game.

Just wanted to say thanks for this little gem. . . . Really helps us tweak our system, supplying both frequencies of bids and practice hands. Great work!

Brilliant. I have made a suggestion for 'further research' in an email sent today. I am working on a Bridge System and your research has made a material contribution. Best regards, Paul Muller

[I normally delete the spam messages, but this one was too funny. I have removed the phone numbers, however, as I think it might be an attempt to harass the real Karen and Jim. =thomas]
You should be ashamed of yourself. To create such drivel and then insert it onto the internet,it's just disgusting. We're so offended that We're in the process of contacting your server providers and we will also be creating a petition to have this site taken down.If anyone else is offended by this site and wants more information about the petition please give us a call.

I am not a programmer but I have found this both fascinating and very useful for developing our partnerhip bidding.
Would *REALLY* love a GUI version.

Thanks Thomas.
I'm having fun with it. It is unbelievable how much one can learn from a simulation.
I was able to interface Deal with GIB but not until I created the temp file c:\temp.
BTW, Deal works just fine with XP.
ciao!

My partner and I still use Deal to generate practice hands for our bidding. Practice takes place at Lefty's pizza parlor!

Hi,
I'm Cem Kıran from Turkey. I'd used the earlier versions of the software before. It was a very convenient & effective tool. But, just like the previous times, it was hard to achieve the right site for downloading.

Hi mr Thomas
You have the best bridge site.
All topics are very good but I like very much the impossible book and the deal program.
Because i am a computer programmer and occasionally a bridge trainer of several greek national teams (junior, women, open) i find that the deal program is an excellent tool for me.
I use your programs for several years, but just now i decided to sign on your guestbook! ;=)
Many thanks and greetings,
John Militsopoulos
