Yes

To Reproduce - Basic

Resize this window to change its height without changing its width. The re-flow causes a horizontal scrollbar that shouldn't be necessary.

To Reproduce - Toolbars

Go to the 'View/Toolbars' menu and change the value for one of the toolbars. This resizes the display window's height without changing its width, and it has the same effect.

Sometimes this only works when the resizing makes the height smaller, so try hiding a visible toolbar.

To Reproduce - Tabs

  1. Set the Tabs preference to "Hide tab bar when only one web site is open."
  2. Open this page in a new window.
  3. Create a new tab in the window. (This has the effect of making the tab bar visible, which in turn resizes the display window, changing its height without changing its width.)
  4. Return to the first tab.

This is basically the same as the toolbars example, it's just that you are going to greater lengths to show a new toolbar.

Notes

I've verified that this fails on Windows and Mac.
