An interesting formation. It had snowed the night I arrived at Bryce, so I stayed at the lodge.
The rancher from whom Bryce Canyon got its name said of the canyon, "It's a damned place to lose a cow."

A common critter, these guys will try to get into your backpack if you step more than a few feet away from them. Apparently, all natural predators are gone.
A somewhat strenous hike, but worthwhile.
